1. Overview
These Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Alchemy affiliate program. By applying to, joining, or promoting Alchemy as an affiliate, you agree to follow these terms.
Alchemy may approve individuals, businesses, creators, educators, coaches, influencers, partners, or organizations to promote Alchemy products, services, memberships, free resources, courses, events, or other offers in exchange for commissions on qualifying sales.
Alchemy currently offers a relationship-building platform that includes free connection features through Alchemy Connect and paid relationship education, courses, programs, and resources through Alchemy Grow.
2. Definitions
Alchemy refers to Alchemy Connect, LLC, its websites, apps, products, services, courses, memberships, free resources, and related brands.
Affiliate refers to any approved person, business, creator, organization, or partner authorized to promote Alchemy in exchange for potential commissions.
Customer refers to a person who signs up for, purchases, or otherwise engages with Alchemy through an affiliate link, tracking link, coupon code, referral page, email funnel, free book funnel, or other approved tracking method.
Qualifying Purchase refers to a purchase that is eligible for commission under these terms.
Commission refers to the amount payable to the affiliate for a qualifying purchase.
Free Book Funnel refers to an approved promotional funnel in which an affiliate offers one of Alchemy’s free books, resources, guides, or lead magnets, and the customer may later purchase a paid Alchemy offer.
3. Acceptance Into the Affiliate Program
Participation in the Alchemy affiliate program is by application or invitation only. Alchemy reserves the right to approve or reject any affiliate application for any reason, including but not limited to brand alignment, audience fit, marketing methods, legal compliance, reputation, or past conduct.
Approval into the affiliate program does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, franchise, or legal representative relationship between the affiliate and Alchemy. Affiliates are independent contractors and are responsible for their own business activities, taxes, legal compliance, and promotional methods.
4. Approved Offers
Affiliates may promote approved Alchemy offers, which may include but are not limited to:
Alchemy lifetime memberships, Alchemy Grow courses, Alchemy 21 programs, paid workshops, live events, retreats, free book funnels, free resources, lead magnets, introductory courses, or other approved products and services.
Alchemy may add, remove, pause, modify, reprice, or discontinue any offer at any time. Commission eligibility may vary by offer and will be communicated through the affiliate dashboard, written agreement, affiliate portal, or official Alchemy communications.
5. Free Book Funnels
Affiliates may promote approved free book funnels as an entry point into the Alchemy ecosystem. These free books may include, but are not limited to:
Understanding Your Attachment Patterns, The Compatibility Blueprint, The Conscious Relationship Manifesto, Mastering Intuition, Conscious Communication 101, and Emotional Intelligence Made Easy.
If a person enters Alchemy’s system through an affiliate’s approved free book funnel and later makes a qualifying purchase, the affiliate may be eligible for commission, provided the purchase is properly tracked and meets all other requirements of these terms.
Free book funnels are intended to give value first, build trust, and introduce people to Alchemy’s larger mission. Affiliates may not misrepresent the free book as a substitute for therapy, counseling, medical care, legal advice, or guaranteed relationship results.
6. Tracking and Attribution
Alchemy will use affiliate links, tracking links, coupon codes, lead capture forms, cookies, email tracking, or other approved methods to attribute customers to affiliates.
Affiliates are responsible for using the correct links, forms, codes, and promotional materials provided or approved by Alchemy. Alchemy is not responsible for commissions that cannot be tracked because the affiliate used an incorrect link, altered tracking URL, broken funnel, unapproved page, or incomplete setup.
If a customer first enters through a free book funnel and later purchases a qualifying membership or product, the affiliate may receive commission if attribution remains properly tracked in Alchemy’s system.
Alchemy reserves the right to determine final attribution in cases of duplicate referrals, multiple affiliate links, coupon conflicts, tracking errors, self-referrals, fraud, or disputes. Unless otherwise stated, the most recent valid affiliate attribution before purchase may be used, but Alchemy may modify attribution rules at its discretion.
7. Cookie Duration and Lead Tracking
Unless otherwise stated in writing, affiliate tracking may remain active for a period determined by Alchemy’s affiliate tracking system. Alchemy may use cookie-based tracking, email-based tracking, CRM-based tracking, affiliate software, or other internal systems.
If a customer clears cookies, uses a different browser, blocks tracking, uses a different email address, or purchases through another link or device, Alchemy may not be able to attribute the purchase to the affiliate. Alchemy is not liable for commissions lost due to technical limitations, privacy settings, third-party platform restrictions, user behavior, or tracking interruptions outside Alchemy’s reasonable control.
8. Commission Rates
Commission rates will be communicated separately through the affiliate portal, written agreement, email confirmation, dashboard, or official Alchemy affiliate materials.
Commission rates may vary by offer, campaign, affiliate tier, promotional arrangement, or product type. Alchemy reserves the right to change commission rates, promotional rules, eligible products, or payout structures at any time. Changes will apply going forward and will not retroactively reduce commissions already earned on qualifying purchases unless fraud, refund, chargeback, violation of these terms, or tracking error is involved.
9. Qualifying Purchases
A purchase qualifies for commission only if:
The customer used the affiliate’s approved link, code, or funnel; the purchase was successfully tracked; the customer completed payment; the purchase was not refunded, canceled, charged back, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid; the affiliate complied with these terms; and the offer is eligible for commission.
Alchemy may withhold or reverse commissions for purchases that are refunded, canceled, disputed, charged back, suspected of fraud, generated through prohibited marketing, or otherwise determined not to be valid qualifying purchases.
10. Refunds, Chargebacks, and Cancellations
If a customer receives a refund, cancels a purchase, initiates a chargeback, disputes a payment, or fails to complete payment, the related commission may be withheld, reversed, deducted from future payouts, or otherwise adjusted.
Alchemy may delay commission payouts until the refund period, chargeback window, or internal review period has passed. This helps ensure affiliates are paid on completed and valid sales.
11. Payout Schedule
Affiliate commissions will be paid according to the payout schedule communicated by Alchemy. Unless otherwise stated, payouts may be made monthly, quarterly, or according to the affiliate platform’s standard schedule.
Alchemy may require a minimum payout threshold before issuing payment. If the minimum threshold is not reached, commissions may roll over to a future payout period.
Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payment information. Alchemy is not responsible for delayed or failed payments caused by incorrect payment details, tax documentation issues, payment processor restrictions, or failure to complete affiliate account setup.
12. Taxes and Payment Information
Affiliates are responsible for all taxes, duties, reporting obligations, and legal requirements related to commissions they receive. Alchemy may require affiliates to submit tax forms, payment information, invoices, or other documentation before commissions are paid.
Alchemy may withhold payments if legally required or if the affiliate has not provided necessary tax or payment information.
13. FTC and Advertising Disclosure Requirements
Affiliates must clearly disclose their relationship with Alchemy whenever promoting Alchemy products, services, memberships, free books, courses, or offers.
Affiliates must comply with all applicable advertising disclosure laws, including the Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guidelines in the United States and any similar laws in the affiliate’s country or jurisdiction.
Disclosures must be clear, visible, and easy to understand. They should not be hidden in small text, buried at the bottom of a post, placed only on a separate page, or obscured by vague language.
Acceptable disclosure examples include:
“I’m an affiliate for Alchemy, which means I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link.”
“This free book is offered through Alchemy. If you later choose to purchase a membership through my link, I may receive a commission.”
“This post contains an affiliate link.”
Affiliates are responsible for using proper disclosures in social media posts, videos, livestreams, email promotions, blog posts, podcasts, websites, landing pages, ads, private messages, and any other promotional content.
14. Truthful Marketing
Affiliates must promote Alchemy honestly and accurately. Affiliates may describe Alchemy’s purpose, features, free connection model, courses, relationship education, free book funnels, and lifetime membership offer, but they may not make false, exaggerated, misleading, or unsupported claims.
Affiliates may not claim that Alchemy guarantees that someone will find love, heal trauma, save a relationship, get married, become emotionally secure, cure attachment issues, overcome mental health conditions, or achieve any specific result.
Affiliates may share personal experiences, opinions, and testimonials only if they are truthful, accurate, and not misleading. If results are not typical, affiliates should make that clear.
15. No Medical, Therapeutic, Legal, or Financial Claims
Alchemy offers educational and personal growth resources. Affiliates may not present Alchemy as therapy, medical treatment, mental health care, legal advice, financial advice, or a replacement for professional support.
Affiliates may not claim that Alchemy can diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or resolve mental health conditions, trauma, addiction, abuse, medical conditions, or serious relational crises.
Affiliates should encourage people to seek qualified professional help when appropriate, especially in situations involving abuse, crisis, mental health concerns, or unsafe relationships.
16. Approved Marketing Materials
Alchemy may provide affiliates with approved copy, images, videos, talking points, landing pages, links, social captions, email copy, and other promotional materials.
Affiliates may customize approved materials to fit their voice and audience, provided they do not change the meaning, make false claims, remove required disclosures, or misrepresent Alchemy’s offers.
Alchemy reserves the right to require changes to any affiliate content that it considers inaccurate, misleading, off-brand, legally risky, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.
17. Brand Guidelines
Affiliates must represent Alchemy in a way that aligns with its mission of healthy connection, emotional intelligence, conscious relationships, and personal growth.
Affiliates may not use Alchemy’s name, logos, images, course names, product names, founder identity, brand assets, or copyrighted materials in a way that suggests ownership, official employment, partnership beyond affiliate status, or endorsement of unrelated products or services.
Affiliates may not register domains, social media handles, ad accounts, pages, groups, trademarks, or business names that include or imitate Alchemy’s name, trademarks, slogans, or confusingly similar branding without written permission.
18. Prohibited Marketing Practices
Affiliates may not use spam, misleading ads, fake scarcity, fake testimonials, false income claims, fake relationship promises, deceptive redirects, unauthorized discounts, cookie stuffing, forced clicks, bot traffic, fake leads, purchased traffic of poor quality, or any fraudulent method to generate referrals.
Affiliates may not send unsolicited emails, texts, direct messages, or automated messages in violation of applicable laws or platform rules.
Affiliates may not promote Alchemy through hateful, abusive, sexually explicit, exploitative, defamatory, discriminatory, illegal, violent, deceptive, or otherwise harmful content.
Affiliates may not use Alchemy to target vulnerable people with fear-based manipulation, shame, coercion, or promises of guaranteed emotional or romantic outcomes.
19. Paid Advertising Rules
Affiliates may not run paid ads using Alchemy’s name, trademarks, founder name, course names, product names, branded keywords, or confusingly similar terms without written permission.
Affiliates may not bid on Alchemy-branded search terms, create ads that appear to be official Alchemy ads, or direct paid traffic to Alchemy using misleading claims.
Affiliates may not run paid ads directly to Alchemy pages, funnels, or offers unless Alchemy has approved the campaign in writing.
If approved to run paid advertising, affiliates must comply with all advertising platform rules, privacy laws, disclosure requirements, and Alchemy’s brand guidelines.
20. Email Marketing Rules
Affiliates may promote Alchemy through email only to people who have lawfully opted in to receive communications from the affiliate.
Affiliates must comply with applicable email laws, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and other relevant laws depending on location and audience.
Affiliate emails must include clear identification of the sender, accurate subject lines, required disclosures, and a working unsubscribe option where legally required.
Affiliates may not imply that emails are being sent directly by Alchemy unless Alchemy has expressly approved that arrangement.
21. Social Media and Video Promotion
Affiliates may promote Alchemy through social media posts, videos, livestreams, reels, stories, podcasts, blogs, and other content platforms.
Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship in each promotional context. For short-form video, the disclosure should appear in the video, caption, or both where appropriate.
Affiliates may use personal storytelling, educational content, commentary on modern dating, relationship tips, book funnel promotions, or reviews of Alchemy, provided their statements are truthful and compliant with these terms.
22. Use of Testimonials
Affiliates may use testimonials only if the testimonials are truthful, accurate, and based on real experiences.
Affiliates may not create fake testimonials, imply typical results when results are unusual, or use testimonials that guarantee specific outcomes.
Alchemy may prohibit or request edits to testimonials that are misleading, unverifiable, exaggerated, or legally risky.
23. Discounts, Bonuses, and Incentives
Affiliates may not offer unauthorized discounts, coupons, rebates, cash incentives, prizes, bonuses, or special offers related to Alchemy unless approved in writing.
Affiliates may offer their own bonus content or support only if it is clearly identified as coming from the affiliate, not Alchemy, and does not create additional obligations for Alchemy.
Affiliates may not promise access, features, refunds, coaching, events, bonuses, or benefits from Alchemy that Alchemy has not officially approved.
24. Self-Referrals and Household Purchases
Affiliates may not use their own affiliate links to purchase Alchemy products for themselves unless Alchemy has expressly allowed self-referrals in writing.
Alchemy may withhold or reverse commissions for self-referrals, duplicate accounts, artificial purchases, purchases from the same household or business created primarily to generate commission, or any arrangement designed to manipulate the affiliate program.
25. Fraud and Abuse
Alchemy reserves the right to investigate any affiliate activity that appears suspicious, fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with the purpose of the affiliate program.
Alchemy may withhold commissions, reverse commissions, suspend accounts, terminate affiliate participation, or take legal action in cases involving fraud, abuse, chargeback manipulation, fake leads, fake purchases, deceptive marketing, or violation of these terms.
26. Intellectual Property
Alchemy retains all rights to its names, trademarks, logos, course materials, books, videos, images, copy, software, app content, website content, brand assets, and other intellectual property.
Affiliates receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use approved Alchemy materials solely for the purpose of promoting approved Alchemy offers as part of the affiliate program.
Affiliates may not copy, sell, distribute, modify, repackage, upload, license, or create derivative products from Alchemy’s paid or free content without written permission.
27. Confidentiality
Affiliates may receive confidential information, including commission rates, conversion data, internal strategy, campaign details, product plans, customer information, or non-public business information.
Affiliates agree not to disclose confidential information to third parties unless authorized by Alchemy or required by law.
This obligation continues after the affiliate relationship ends.
28. Customer Data and Privacy
Affiliates must comply with all applicable privacy laws and must handle customer information responsibly.
Affiliates may not collect, store, sell, misuse, or share customer data obtained through Alchemy campaigns except as legally permitted and directly related to their own lawful marketing activities.
Alchemy owns and controls customer relationships, customer accounts, app data, purchase records, and platform data generated through Alchemy websites, apps, funnels, and systems.
29. Termination
Alchemy may suspend or terminate an affiliate’s participation in the program at any time, with or without cause.
Reasons for termination may include violation of these terms, misleading marketing, failure to disclose affiliate status, brand misuse, fraud, low-quality traffic, customer complaints, legal risk, inactivity, or conduct inconsistent with Alchemy’s mission.
Affiliates may also choose to leave the affiliate program at any time by notifying Alchemy.
Upon termination, the affiliate must stop using Alchemy affiliate links, promotional materials, logos, branded assets, and any claims of affiliation with Alchemy.
30. Effect of Termination on Commissions
If an affiliate is terminated for convenience and has earned valid commissions before termination, Alchemy may pay those commissions according to the normal payout schedule, subject to refunds, chargebacks, minimum thresholds, and these terms.
If an affiliate is terminated for fraud, prohibited marketing, legal violations, misleading claims, or breach of these terms, Alchemy may withhold, cancel, or reverse unpaid commissions.
Alchemy may also remove tracking, disable links, or end future attribution after termination.
31. Modification of Terms
Alchemy may update or modify these Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms may be posted on the Alchemy website, affiliate portal, or sent by email.
Continued participation in the affiliate program after changes are posted or communicated means the affiliate accepts the updated terms.
32. No Guarantee of Earnings
Alchemy does not guarantee that affiliates will earn any income or commissions. Affiliate results depend on many factors, including audience size, audience fit, content quality, marketing strategy, compliance, timing, and customer interest.
Any examples of earnings, conversions, or affiliate results are illustrative only and should not be understood as typical or guaranteed.
33. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alchemy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from participation in the affiliate program.
Alchemy’s total liability to any affiliate shall not exceed the unpaid commissions validly owed to that affiliate for qualifying purchases during the relevant payout period.
34. Indemnification
Affiliates agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alchemy, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, partners, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of the affiliate’s marketing activities, violation of these terms, legal noncompliance, false claims, misuse of intellectual property, data privacy violations, or misconduct.
35. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Any disputes shall be handled in the jurisdiction determined by Alchemy’s official business agreements, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
